Super Model

Has there been a time in your life, where you paused for just a moment to assess how things are going? Ever thought of how you’re faring as a model? What of having a mindset change after encountering Christ, better still has it ever struck you, that the world wasn’t made for your glory and nothing in your life serves to your glory??

Well, the thing about Christianity is that, nothing is about you. The melodious voice, the flexible dancing body, the beautiful, heart warming smile. None of these things are there for you. People may praise you and make you feel like “ you deserve the glory and the honor, so they left their hands in worship to praise your holy name“. Unfortunately, none of that is supposed to happen, for you’re not great, neither do you do miracles so great as you think. True, that there is no one else like you, but someone can always fill in your place and do what God wants. What I’m driving at is that, you’re not the one at stake, God’s glory is. And need you be informed that God’s glory is equivalent to His presence, which is directly proportional to Him?  The whole point of Christianity is so that God’s glory would be manifested.

So you’re a high maintenance super model, who walks on the runway of life, in your designer’s(God’s) clothes. When people don’t appreciate the design, its the designer who is thought of as not being creative enough, yet, the last time I checked, this designer is responsible for those beautiful peacock feathers everyone admires, not forgetting the sweet scented fragrant flowers, just to mention a few. The thing is that, this whole affair is a deal. The designer didn’t coerce you into signing up, you chose to. So please!!!! Desist from doing things to please yourself, because God’s glory is at stake.

A glory(personality), He doesn’t share with anyone. The next time you do anything at all, let it be “for His glory,you’ll do anything, just to see Him and behold Him as your King“. Let His glory propel you to “wanna give your best to Him, wanna do all He asks you to….”. Before you speak, or remain silent over evil, compromise, allow sin dominion into your life, kowtow to that addiction, live below your purpose, wear that seductive dress, remember that the glory of God is at stake. And you can’t afford to mar that glory. Learn to live knowing that God’s glory is at stake.
